Since 1991, the HAO team has provided support for young adults with disabilities from state institutions in order to integrate them into society. We support them into developing the skills they need to live independent full lives, make friends, get jobs. We have also worked within the community with young adults with disabilities, their families/legal guardians, and with companies, developing supported employment programs.

Founded in 1991, this charity was originally set up to help people with learning disabilities find paid employment and allows them to move away from the traditional day centre setting. Today, using a method called Individual Placement and Support (IPS), Status Employment consultants are able to assist people with mental health problems, looking for the most appropriate workplace and providing the necessary support so that the employee is able to perform his / her tasks to the expected standards.
